About AxisHer

Helping Women Navigate Midlife Health with Clarity and Confidence

Jennifer and Amy, co-founders of AxisHer

AxisHer was created to help women navigate midlife health with clearer information, stronger support, and greater confidence.

Founded from the shared perspectives of clinical research and trauma-informed care, AxisHer brings together science, real-life experience, and community. Like many women, we had questions about hormones, long-term health, and how to stay strong through midlife and beyond. What we found was a confusing mix of information, mixed advice, and too little clear guidance.

We started by sharing what we were learning with friends. Those conversations grew into small gatherings where women could ask honest questions, hear from clinicians and experts, and talk openly about their health. That work became the Salon Series.

Today, AxisHer offers science-based education, and community support for women in midlife. We help translate research into practical guidance so women can better understand their bodies, talk with their healthcare teams, and make decisions with confidence.

Our work also supports clinicians and organizations by connecting new science with everyday care and creating spaces where women can learn, share, and feel supported.

For Clinicians

AxisHer serves not only women navigating midlife, but also the clinicians who care for them. Through evidence-based education, practical clinical resources, and continuing medical education (CME) programs in development, we're helping healthcare providers stay current with the latest guidance in perimenopause and menopause care.

When women and clinicians are working from the same trusted information, conversations become more informed, care becomes more collaborative, and outcomes improve for everyone.

Co-founders Jennifer and Amy bring complementary experience to this work. Jennifer has more than 20 years of experience in healthcare, clinical research, and innovation. Amy, a licensed clinical social worker, has spent her career supporting people through trauma, chronic illness, grief, and complex healthcare systems.

Together, we built AxisHer as a trusted resource and growing community for women who want to move through midlife with clarity, confidence, and connection.

Because women deserve more than information. They deserve the knowledge, tools, and support to lead their own care.
